Hi y’all! We are finally somewhat settled into our new place after a long few days of traveling, moving, and (kind of) unpacking. Training camp has started, so my boyfriend is busy all day everyday for the next two weeks. That means I have a ton of time to get back to blogging, yay!
I have SO many new things to blog about, but I thought I would start off by swatching and reviewing the Tarte Bling It On Amazonian Clay Blush Palette, part of their Holiday 2015 collection. As I’m sure most of you know it is limited edition, so I wanted to review it right away so you guys could pick it up before it sells out. Tarte has come out with holiday blush palettes for the past few years, but this is the first one I have owned. It’s actually an early Christmas present from my mom (thanks Mama).
The palette is $44, includes 5 shades, and is valued at $110.00. It is exclusive to Sephora, and is online and in stores now. I’ve never owned any Tarte blushes before, but I’ve always wanted to give them a try. I’m glad I finally did because I love them!
I mean the packaging alone is gorgeous! I’m obsessed with the box that the blush palette comes in, the geometric pattern is amazing. The palette itself is slim, and perfect for travel. The black glitter does shed a tad bit, but it’s nothing to complain about. The shades that come in the palette are super pigmented (with exception of Beaming).
(Bottom to Top – Fetching, Dollface, Prim, Smashing, & Beaming)
Fetching: Dark Red Berry
Dollface: Bright Baby Pink
Prim: Pinky Nude (Shows up more pink than nude on my skin; my favorite shade.)
Beaming: Shimmery Peachy Pink (Not much pigmentation, but still pretty for a subtle blush.)
I would definitely recommend this palette! It’s got a variety of versatile shades with high pigmentation, and 10-12 hour lasting power. Get it before it’s gone!
